Learn how to update the DJI Mic Mini firmware on iPhone using the DJI Mimo app, including the receiver and both transmitters one at a time.
In this video, Matthew G walks through a step-by-step DJI Mic Mini firmware update process using an iPhone. DJI notes that the DJI Mic Mini receiver and transmitters can be updated through the DJI Mimo app.
The main tip in this tutorial is to update each part separately. Keep the other transmitters closed in the charging case while connecting and updating one device at a time.
Matthew shows how to connect the receiver to the DJI Mimo app by closing the app first, holding the receiver power button until it turns blue, opening the app again, and pressing connect on the iPhone display.
He also explains the transmitter update process, which is slightly different. For the mics, first go into iPhone Bluetooth settings, connect the transmitter, then open the DJI Mimo app. Hold the Bluetooth connect button on the mic until it turns blue, check for the firmware update red dot, and tap update if an update is available.

Important note: Matthew had already updated the receiver before filming, so the red firmware update dot was not visible on the receiver during the video. If your receiver needs an update, look for the red dot or firmware update prompt inside the DJI Mimo app after the receiver connects.
